Mistura is a Research Engineer at Digital Pulse Technologies and the founder of VertSTEM. She earned an MSc. in Computer Science from the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, and a BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
She is a TechWomen Fellow 2022 and a beneficiary of awards from the World Bank Idea4Action, African Development Bank, IEEE, Bertelsmann Technology, and Etisalat. Mistura has experience with projects leveraging computer vision and embedded systems.
Mistura hopes to be a remarkable leader in pioneering future technologies. She is in awe of emerging technologies and sees herself as a tinkerer that will build businesses around this transformative technology. Mistura is a Professional Education/Activities committee member and Young Professional of the IEEE R8( Europe, Middle East, Africa).
She advocates for more women in STEM/rural education empowerment through VertSTEM. She is passionate about making STEM accessible to all, including those living in energy-deprived locations who cannot afford their computing resources. She was a part of the UNGA 77 Science Summit dialogue on Female Trailblazers Making Moves to Solve Local Challenges with STEM.
