Projects

Ubuntu Analytics Drone Project 2019.

My team provided a solution to a critical problem in the petroleum industry. We used modern technologies such as drone technology, artificial intelligence and IOT to proffer solutions to curb oil and gas pipeline vandalism. Our team came third in the AUST Inspire Start-Up Pitch organized by the African Development Bank in 2019. It was also placed third at the STSE 2019 organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers(SPE) at OAU Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

Belle Project 2017

Belle typically means pregnancy in Nigeria’s pidgin language. It is a project put forward by our team at the USPF 2017. Belle aims to help women go through the pregnancy journey safe and sound. With the USPF theme at mind to provide services for social equity and inclusion, especially as regards rural, un-served and under-served areas in Nigeria. We came up with a USSD App to specifically carter for people with inaccessibility to the Internet. We also provided a mobile app solution that helps women to determine their due date, keeps track of their baby’s development during pregnancy, get updates about maternal health and family planning. Users can also get insights from fellow mums & medical experts in real-time.

Digital Display 2012.

This PIC Microcontroller based project was done during my IT at Digitouch Electronics. It was my first practical experience. I enjoyed every bit of soldering the LED bulbs on the Veroboard to form a 24 by 7 dimension. And then the fun part of having to clip off the excess pin from the LED bulb after it has stuck to the board. The Power Circuit and the Amplifier Circuit was also built using the necessary devices. I acknowledge the effort of Mr. Gbenga and Mr. Wale for putting me through the software that runs on it. The message can be updated to any text.
